Hi, I’m Loren and I am the owner and Head Cosmetic Nurse at Mount Isa Cosmetic Injectables.
I started Mount Isa Cosmetic Injectables to fill the gap in services in town. I am passionate about providing client-centred care and have always had a passion for empowering and enhancing natural features.
I found that I could combine my passion for beauty and business into one goal. However, it was not to be so easy. I faced many challenges from self-doubt to travelling for training all while juggling a household and full-time work.
I am confident that all adults can enjoy the services offered and we can find an appropriate service. I have been a passionate registered nurse for over 12 years, along with my initial degree I have also studied:
- Bachelor of Midwifery
- Master of Emergency Nursing
- Graduate Certificate of Nursing (Leadership)
- Graduate Certificate of Health Care Management
- Graduate Certificate of Infection control and prevention
In conjunction with the above official post-graduate degrees, I looked for a course that would give me the best knowledge and hands-on experience to provide safe and effective services to our community. I have taken several official courses and attended hands-on workshops with leading industry experts to keep up to date with the latest aesthetic trends. I also like to keep up to date by attending webinars and reading peer-reviewed journals.
